What each line item is, and why

Flying Trapeze Rig — USD $32,500 (required)

This is the complete rig: every frame, connection, net bar and safety line needed for immediate operation on handover. There is no “base model” with extras hidden behind it.

Two components are deliberately over-specified. The net is heavy-duty, machine-woven and UV-treated, because the net is the component tropical sun destroys first on lesser rigs. The pedestal board is double-wide, because a wider board is measurably safer and more comfortable for guests climbing to height for the first time. Full specifications are on the rig page.

Structural Anchors, set of 24 — USD $2,220 (required)

Twenty-four solid stainless steel structural anchors hold the rig’s guy cables to the ground. They ship ahead of the rig so your concrete works are complete before the installation crew arrives.

The client supplies the concrete locally — shipping concrete internationally would be money thrown away, and local supply keeps this cost under your control. Concrete requirements are documented on the installation page.

Full Stock Package — USD $9,910 (recommended)

Everything consumed or held as a spare in normal operation: chalk and tape, maintenance tools, a full set of 10 safety belts, backup fly cables and safety lines, critical-component backup stock, a chalk sack, a spare fall arrester, and a backup Dyneema extension cable with running pulleys — organized with a mount board and minimum stock levels for stock management.

We recommend it without hesitation: downtime on a $32,500 asset for want of a $40 consumable is false economy, and resupply to a remote island or a new attraction mid-season takes weeks, not days.

Safety Mat Package — USD $2,240 (recommended)

Two supersoft safety mats, 1830 × 1830 × 300 mm each, with supersoft foam interiors and heavy-duty triple-stitched handles, for the trapeze rollout and practice bar area.

Recommended for any operation taking paying guests: the mats cover the two ground areas where beginners actually land.

Installation, setup & testing — USD $2,800

A two-person MACA team installs, rigs and load-tests the complete rig in an estimated 4 days, weather permitting, with occasional assistance from 2–3 local staff provided by the client. The day-by-day process is on the installation page.

Operation staff training — USD $400/day

Estimated at 10 days with an Activity Manager in place and a team of minimum 3 people. Training establishes Standard Operating Procedures and safety protocols, and brings your local staff to full working capacity. Details on the training page.

Maintenance safety checks — USD $500/day

Recommended yearly, depending on usage and environment. Inspections are required for warranty validity, and a Certificate of Inspection is issued for public display. Routine inspections take 2 days plus travel time; a 5-year maintenance contract is available at the standard inspection daily rate. Details on the maintenance page.

That is why we quote “most projects land between USD $50,000 and $70,000 all-in” [PLACEHOLDER: confirm range]: the equipment and services are fixed and published; freight, travel and duties depend on where you are. Send us a location and we’ll give you the real number within 48 hours.

Why we publish our prices

No other flying trapeze rig manufacturer publishes pricing; every competitor quotes on request. We publish because a capital buyer deserves to budget before a sales call, and because we are confident in the value at these numbers. If you receive a genuine quote for a rig of the same or higher specification, we will meet it.

How does this compare with US and European manufacturers?

US and European manufacturers quote on request, so direct list-price comparison is not possible — we will not invent their numbers. What is certain is geography: trans-Pacific or European sea freight for a multi-tonne rig adds materially to the landed cost and transit time of any project in Asia, the Gulf or the Indian Ocean, and so does flying an installation crew from California or France instead of from Phuket. Our manufacturer comparison page sets out the decision criteria.

What does a flying trapeze rig earn?

A rig is a revenue line, not just a capital cost: group classes, private sessions, sunset shows, birthday parties and corporate events all run on the same 25 × 35 m footprint. We operate this business model ourselves at our academy in Phuket.
